Bird and Nature Walks

On January 10th, the Friends Bird and Nature Walk toured the North End of the Lower Suwannee Wildlife Refuge. Surprisingly given all the rain that week, they had no rain on this excursion. They saw Great Blue Heron, Bluebirds, Red Tailed Hawk, American Crow, Turkey and Black Vultures, Kildeer, Phoebes, Cardinals, Pileated Woodpecker, Red Bellied Woodpecker, Pine Warbler, Robins, Mockingbird, and Yellow Rumped Warble.
