Monday's Board Meeting

The minutes will be posted when they are approved. But here are some highlights:

• Members are needed to help with nominations for the Board, establishing the 2012 budget and plans, and serving on the Financial Review Committee
• After an active summer, Friends is getting even more active as fall arrives with a call for members interested in an Advocacy Group, working on membership retention and recruitment, reviewing and making recommendations for new inventory for our booth sales, and manning the booth at the Cedar Key Seafood festival October 15 and 16
• The Shell Mound Welcome Team works 30 hours a month to provide information at Shell Mound and keep the trails in good shape. Members are: Ron and Christine Black, Phil Cotham, and Kate and Charles Neese. Additional participants are welcome!
• Saturday Sept 24 at 10:30am at the Cedar Key Public Library Jay Bushnell will give a presentation on Honey Bees and Their Keepers
