The Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge is a premier area for watching butterflies.
On this  Butterfly of the Month page you will get an idea of the different butterflies flying in the Refuge at each particular time of the year.  Below the information about this month's featured butterfly, you can click to see the butterflies featured in previous months.
On the "Science, Butterflies" tab above, you can find a Butterfly Primer and a Survey of Butterflies seen along the Nature Drive on the Lower Suwannee NWR.
