Who Joins Friends? Why?

Friends are people who believe in protecting wildlife and its habitat. People become part of the Friends of the Lower Suwannee & Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges because protecting wildlife and its habitat is what the Refuges are all about. It is their mission. Friends join to be part of an organization that builds support for the Refuges and helps them protect the environment we value.

The Board of Directors meets regularly to organize activities and manage the Friends efforts to achieve all of the organization's goals. All are welcome to attend. The many initiatives, publications, and activities of the Friends are described and available throughout this website.
