I live in Fort Lauderdale and I want to paddle the Suwannee for 3 to 5 days. I have heard of shuttle services and I would like a recommendation.

A friend of mine did a paddle down the Suwannee. They used American Canoe Adventures, Inc. 386 397-1309 or email aca1@All tel.net out of White Springs. They are partners with Suwannee River Wilderness Trail. They do day trips as well as longer trips.

Also, be sure to click on the Visit the Refuges tab above to review and download the friends paddling guides to 12 trails on the refuges. The guides provide navigational information and also biological data to make paddling through the refuge even more fascinating.
